Free REACH Annex XVII Test Report for Your Jewelry Brand — New-Seller Support (EU & UK)

Free REACH Annex XVII Test Report for Your Jewelry Brand — New-Seller Support (EU & UK)

Launching your own jewelry label and worried about EU and UK compliance paperwork? Our New-Seller Support Campaign covers the cost of a REACH Annex XVII test report issued under your own brand name — the moment you place a mixed wholesale batch of $500 or more (ex-factory).

What REACH (Annex XVII) Means for Jewelry: Lead, Cadmium & Nickel Release

REACH is the European Union's chemicals regulation. The UK runs its own UK REACH, and — importantly for you — the heavy-metal limits in Annex XVII are currently identical to the EU's. For fashion jewelry, the part that matters is Annex XVII, which caps three substances:

Lead (Pb) — limited to 0.05% in metal components.

Cadmium (Cd) — limited to 0.01% in metal components.

Nickel Release — capped at 0.2 µg/cm²/week for items in direct skin contact, and 0.5 µg/cm²/week for pierced-ear jewelry.

What you need is a test report from an accredited laboratory showing your items are within limits. We provide the test report; we do not claim our products are "certified," because compliance is demonstrated per batch and per material, not granted as a permanent certificate.

Why New Jewelry Brands Struggle With Compliance

When you are starting out, compliance documents feel costly and overwhelming. Most laboratories quote per substance, per style, and the price climbs quickly across a catalogue of dozens of SKUs. Many new sellers respond in one of two risky ways: they skip the paperwork (and risk removal from EU and UK marketplaces), or they over-pay for generic documents that do not even carry their own brand name.

That gap is exactly what this campaign is built to close — genuine, brand-specific compliance evidence at zero extra cost to you.

The New-Seller Support Campaign: How It Works

Place any mixed wholesale batch with a product value of $500 or more (ex-factory price, excluding shipping, insurance and customs clearance), and we cover the full cost of a REACH Annex XVII test report issued under your own company or brand name.

Your brand on the report. The document names your business, so you can list and sell with real confidence.

We cover the cost. There is no extra charge for the report — it is included as part of the campaign.

Mix any styles. Combine proven best-sellers and test pieces in one $500 batch to learn what actually sells, faster.

10+ pieces per style. Each product ordered in quantities of 10 or more can be written into your report.

This is an introductory offer for new sellers; we may adjust or close it as we review results.

First-Order Benefit: Report OR Sample-Fee Credit (Choose One)

If you also qualify for our sample-fee credit on a first order, the two benefits are either/or — you choose the brand-name report or the sample credit. They are not stacked, so pick the one that fits your launch stage.

Eligibility & Terms

Markets: products intended for the EU and UK only. Both operate REACH-equivalent heavy-metal rules. For destinations outside the EU and UK, this campaign is temporarily not available.

Threshold: quote-sheet product value ≥ $500 (ex-factory), excluding freight, insurance, customs clearance, and sample fees.

Write-in condition: a single product ordered at 10 or more pieces can be included in your report.

Report type: accredited-laboratory test report under your brand name. We do not issue "certificates" and we do not claim pre-certification of our products.

Compliance notes on this page are general guidance for EU and UK jewelry placing, not legal advice. Always confirm current limits with an accredited laboratory or your compliance lead.

FAQ

Is this a certificate?

No. We provide a test report from an accredited laboratory showing your items meet Annex XVII limits. A test report demonstrates compliance for the tested batch and materials; it is not a blanket certificate.

Does the same report work for both the UK and the EU?

Yes. UK REACH and EU REACH currently share the same Annex XVII limits for lead, cadmium and nickel release, so one report covers both markets.

How long does it take?

Lead time depends on the laboratory queue. We will give you a timeline as soon as your batch is confirmed.

What if my order is under $500?

The campaign applies from $500 ex-factory. Smaller orders can still request a paid test report separately.
